STRAIGHT UP27โ31 AUG 2027WHAT GUESTS SAY
Seven guests, Carnival 2026, one house rule: leave it as clean as you found it. Here is what they said about the rooms, the decor and your hosts Caz and Tee.
โThe room was spotless when we walked in โ fresh linen, everything wiped down, not a speck of dust anywhere. I've stayed in hotels that weren't half as clean. Caz met us at the door with a smile and had the kettle on before our bags were down.โ
โThe decor is genuinely beautiful. Proper thought has gone into every corner โ the lighting behind the headboard, the little coffee station, the artwork. I took more photos of the bedroom than I did of the parade. Already booked for next year's event.โ
โLocation is everything at carnival and this was perfect. We rolled out of bed, walked ten minutes and we were on the road. No tubes, no queues, no forty quid cabs at 2am. We came back mid-afternoon to change our outfits and go again.โ
โTee was so friendly and welcoming from the first message. Answered every question, told us where to eat, where to stand for the best sound systems. It felt like staying with family rather than renting a room off a stranger.โ
โClean, calm and safe โ that's what I needed after a long day on the road. The bathroom was immaculate every morning and the bed was so comfortable I actually slept, which never happens at carnival weekend.โ
โCaz and Tee are the reason we're coming back. Warm, welcoming, completely unbothered by us coming in glittered up and full of noise. They made the whole weekend easy. Our deposit for next year is already paid.โ
โSix of us travelled down and it worked flawlessly. Rooms were clean, the decor made it feel like a boutique hotel, and the walk to Ladbroke Grove was nothing. We've already booked for next year's event before anyone else got a chance.โ
Carnival goers up and down the country kitting themselves out through our shop page.
โOrdered my outfit, whistle and a Jamaica flag through the shop links and everything landed within two days. One place, one basket, no trawling twenty different sites. Wore the lot on the road and got stopped for photos all day.โ
โThe bum bag and chest bag recommendations were spot on โ hands free all day and nothing went missing. Bought the press horn too. Loud is an understatement.โ
โThe road essentials list saved me. Water bottle holder, sanitiser, wipes, mini first aid kit and a foldable seat all came from the shop page. By 6pm I was the most prepared person on St Pauls carnival route.โ
โBought the wig, sunglasses and a bandana set for our group of five. Quality was better than I expected for the price and the links took me straight to the listings โ no guessing whether it was the right item.โ
โThe flask and the Magnum bottle holder are genuinely the best thing I've bought for carnival. Everything I clicked was in stock and cheap. I now send this shop page to everyone in the group chat every August.โ
